The Minnesota Department of Transportation announced that a groundbreaking event will be held this Friday, Nov. 1 for the Owatonna to Dodge Center expansion project. The event is open to the public. Highway 14 Partnership members are encouraged to attend to celebrate this exciting progress! Details are as follows:
What: Highway 14 Groundbreaking, Owatonna to Dodge Center Expansion
When: 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2019
Where: The cul de sac at SE 54th Ave., Claremont, MN, 55924
While some work will begin this year, the bulk of the construction on the expansion project will begin next spring and is anticipated to be completed by 2022. The current Highway 14 is expected to remain open as the new alignment is created.
