New information highlights why we need to ‘Fix 14 Now’

The U.S. Highway 14 Partnership created a new informational handout to help make the case for why the Highway 14 expansion project needs to be fully funded and completed this year. The handout, which can be found here, shows that Highway 14 from New Ulm to Rochester is the most populated 100-mile stretch without a four-lane highway in the state. The handout also notes this project is almost done — only 24.5 miles remain! — and lays out the funding options we hope the Legislature will consider and pass this year.

Highway 14 Partnership members and other advocates are encouraged to use this handout when meeting with legislators or other transportation policy makers. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Carolyn Jackson at ccjackson@flaherty-hood.com.
