Thanks to all the people who spoke out on behalf of fixing Highway 14 at the informational hearing in Albert Lea this morning.  Les Abrahams, Tom Kuntz, Beth Hodgman, Tom Shea, Steve Gray, and Pete Connor all expressed their commitment to fixing US Highway 14.  The highlight quote came from Tom Shea, with his 1974 (yes, 1974) campaign flyer:  “Highway Department schedule calls for ‘Future construction of Hwy 14 between Hwy 56 and Owatonna in years 1991-2000.’  This is completely unacceptable.”  Unacceptable in 1974—unconscionable in 2015.  #fix14now!
