Highway 14 in the news

With the Legislature on a week-long Easter/Passover break until April 23, Highway 14 advocates are taking advantage of the downtime at the Capitol to visit with media outlets in southern Minnesota to discuss the Highway 14 Partnership’s legislative priorities and the prospects for a transportation bill this legislative session.

Last Thursday, New Ulm Mayor (and past president of the Partnership) Bob Beussman and Partnership lobbyist Shane Zahrt visited the New Ulm Journal newspaper and radio station KNUJ. Patrick Baker, director of government affairs for Greater Mankato Growth and member of the Partnership’s board of directors, also joined Beussman and Zahrt for meeting with staff at the Mankato Free Press.
