Annual membership meeting to be held July 11

The U.S. Highway 14 Partnership Annual Meeting will be held July 11 at the Owatonna Arts Center, 540 West Hills Circle, Owatonna, MN from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. This will be an extremely important meeting for our group as we celebrate our progress and continue to chart a course to completing the expansion to New Ulm. In addition to the special agenda items listed below, the meeting will feature our regular business meeting and a legislative recap.

MnDOT Commissioner Charlie Zelle to speak at meeting

We have confirmed that MnDOT commissioner Charlie Zelle will be attending the meeting to speak on the importance of the Highway 14 project and briefly reflect on his time as commissioner. His remarks will be followed by an update from MnDOT’s project manager for the Owatonna to Dodge Center expansion project.

Legislative recognition reception, co-sponsored by Journey to Growth, to follow meeting

All are invited to stick around after the meeting for a reception to recognize and thank Highway 14 legislators. Journey to Growth (“J2G”) and the Highway 14 Partnership are co-hosting the event, which will feature light snacks, brief remarks, and a chance to talk with and thank legislators for their efforts in helping us achieve significant progress on Highway 14 expansion this year. The reception will run from the conclusion of our meeting at 11:30 to around noon.

J2G is a regional economic development plan based in Rochester that was created to diversify and grow the regional economy. J2G and its members have been active participants in the Highway 14 Partnership’s legislative efforts in recent years. We thank them for their support and for offering to sponsor this event.

See you in Owatonna!
