Session’s First Hwy 14 Bills Introduced

The first U.S. Highway 14 bills have been introduced at the Legislature.

In the House, Rep. Clark Johnson and Rep. Paul Torkelson have requested $137 million in trunk highway bonds for the stretch from Highway 15 to Nicollet in HF169.  In the Senate, Senators Senjem, Nelson and Dahms have requested $160 million in trunk highway bonds for the section from Owatonna to Dodge Center in SF121.  And the Senate has introduced its omnibus transportation bill, SF87, which allocates $800 million in trunk highway bond proceeds over 4 years for the Corridors of Commerce program. #fix14now
