The Nicollet Chamber of Commerce has extended an invitation to all U.S. Highway 14 Partnership members to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the completion of Highway 14 from Nicollet to North Mankato. The project expands more than nine miles of Highway 14 to four lanes with a full interchange at Highway 111/CR 23 in Nicollet. It was funded through the Corridors of Commerce program.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony, which is sponsored by the Nicollet Chamber, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14 at the Nicollet Fire Hall (402 Third Street).

The Chamber has also invited local, state and federal elected officials to the ceremony to celebrate with the contractors and MnDOT staff who persevered through two rainy seasons to build a new highway that will aid the area economy and improve safety for motorists.
