MAP-21 Will Expire–Contact Federal Reps now

Attention US Highway 14 Partnership Activists:

The current extension of MAP-21, federal surface transportation funding, is set to expire on July 31st.  This is an important time to contact our US Senators and your member of Congress to urge action on a long-term fix for the federal Highway Trust Fund.  Without a plan for more than a series of extensions, states and local governments will struggle to develop long-term plans that rely on federal funds for the foreseeable future.

While our Minnesota Senators do not serve on the EPW Committee, Senator Klobuchar does sit on the Senate Commerce Committee which has jurisdiction over some aspects of surface transportation including oversight of the US Department of Transportation.
