Business and community leaders encouraged to attend transportation forum on Sept. 5

Greater Mankato Growth (a Highway 14 Partnership member), Progress in Motion and the Minnesota Public Transit Association are hosting a free breakfast forum on transportation issues that impact the Greater Mankato region:

Community Transportation Forum
Wednesday, Sept. 5
7:30-9 a.m.
1961 Premier Dr., Mankato
Sakatah Trail Conference Room

The event will bring business and community leaders together, including candidates for elected office, to talk about local transportation needs and possible solutions. By participating in the forum, you can help candidates and elected officials better understand the important role that Highway 14 plays in bolstering southern Minnesota’s economy, as well as speak up about other transportation challenges and concerns that affect the region. According to the event organizers, local news media will also be invited to the forum to help build momentum for policy changes heading into the 2019 legislative session.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP to margaret@transportationalliance.com. A light breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 8 a.m.
